An on-line version of the printed book, our Online Directory of Services for Seniors is updated continually and provides the most up-to-date information for older adults in Middle TN.Printed Directory
A published book titled The Directory of Services for Seniors© is printed every other year and made available FREE of charge to older adults (age 55+) and their families. Professionals can purchase a spiral bound copy for $5. The 17th edition (2013-14) is currently available.
Getting a Copy - Seniors & Families
There are several ways to obtain a copy of the Directory of Services for Seniors. Copies are available through:
- ALL public library branches
- COA office
- U.S. Media Mail*
*If you are unable to pick up a copy , the COA staff can mail a copy to you upon receipt of a check or money order for $4 to cover postage. Send to :COA95 White Bridge Road, Suite 114Nashville, TN 37205Be sure to include the name and address where the copy should be sent. Please do not send cash.
Getting a Copy - Professionals
Many professionals find the spiral bound books easier to work with. Professionals may purchase spiral bound copies of the Directory for $5 each. Please add $4 per copy to have a copy mailed.

Getting listed
A
committee, composed of professionals, seniors and family members, makes
decisions regarding inclusion or exclusion for each edition. In order to be listed in the Directory, the
service provider must:
- Offer a service that falls within one or more of the broad service categories found in the Directory’s Table of Contents.
- Provide a service that meets the objective of publishing the Directory.
- Be licensed or certified or authorized to provide the services being offered if the provision of said services is regulated.
- Be in good standing with the licensing/certifying/regulatory entity (if applicable).
- Provide services within the Middle Tennessee counties that the Directory serves.
- Offer a unique service, if selected for listing from among a group of similar services/providers that are not listed.
