Supporting COA is a direct way to help Middle Tennessee's senior population and its caregivers.  With your support, gaps in services will be identified and solutions will be implemented.  The senior population is expected to mushroom over the next 20 years, and the need for COA and its work has never been greater.  

Here are just a few things we accomplished in 2013 thanks to donors like you:

• 40,000 copies of the 2013-14 Directory of Services for Seniors were printed and will be distributed to older adults and their caregivers over the next two years.
• COA staff and volunteers made over 50 presentations to churches, employee groups, and other community groups about key issues facing older adults, such as caregiving, scams, and community resources.
• 2,000 seniors celebrated Older Americans Month by participating in Senior Days on the General Jackson.
  
• Scam of the Month reach over 5,000 each month, helping to protect older adults from scams impacting Middle Tennessee.
• COA distributed thousands of copies of the important educational materials, including Aging & Caring: Things Families Need to Know, ReNEW (Nutrition, Exercise, and Wellness for Older Adults), Preparing & Planning for Life's Final Chapter, and Protecting Your Money & Identity: Tips for Seniors.
